I love a good simple recipe! If there are too many ingredients, I won’t even attempt it! I just don’t have the time to spend hours in the kitchen. That doesn’t mean that I don’t enjoy the kitchen and cooking for my family, it just means that my days are packed to the gill and I want to spend any extra time with my kids and Josh…not slaving away in the kitchen!
I love to bake yummy things for my kids, so when a simple recipe presents itself, I am all in! I am not going to write a long, drawn out post, because I know you just want to see the recipe! I made this in literally five minutes, and Jameson couldn’t get enough of it! I left it out one afternoon when we had friends over, and every time someone walked by, they grabbed a cookie and dipped it in the Pumpkin Fluff. They all gave it raving reviews!
I do like pumpkin, but I have to admit that I don’t love a strong pumpkin flavor. This recipe was just right, because it added a pumpkin flavor, but it was not overwhelming at all.
Did I mention that it only takes four ingredients? I was floored. There are tons of creative ways to display this, so if you want some good ideas, look on Pinterest! I kept mine super simple, because like I said, I need quick + easy! I served mine with ginger snaps and vanilla wafers, but you can serve fruit with it, too! Or experiment with different options, and let me know what you would recommend!
16 ounces Cool Whip (I used light)
1 can pumpkin puree
1 teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
Mix the pumpkin, vanilla pudding mix, and pumpkin pie spice together in a large mixing bowl. Fold in the Cool Whip and mix thoroughly.
Chill in the refrigerator for about 2 hours before serving.
I dare you to just eat one ginger snap dipped in this fluffy deliciousness! In fact, I double dog dare you. I guarantee you won’t be able to stop at just one! It is sooo yummy!!!
